Courtesy Fleet: Important Questions to Ask Yourself When Buying an Automobile.

During our long history, we’ve found a true set of questions that have worked best for thousands of our satisfied customers:

  1. WHAT WILL THE VEHICLE TRANSPORT?

If you just need to get yourself to client meetings, a subcompact car might do the job. If you’re a delivery type of business, you probably need a truck or a van.

  1. WILL MORE THAN ONE DRIVER USE THE VEHICLE?

If your company vehicle will be shared by several employees, consider one that’s easy to operate.

  1. WILL CUSTOMERS SEE YOUR VEHICLE?

If so, what you drive up in will say something important about your company. First impressions are everything in the business world.  You wouldn’t want your employee arriving at a job site in an old truck covered in scratches and dents.  That tells people that you don’t have a big enough customer base to pay for adequate equipment.  It might make them wonder if you are even the right choice for the job.

  1. DO YOU NEED MORE THAN ONE VEHICLE?

If your business needs more than one vehicle, consider whether you should stick to one make and model or purchase entirely different vehicle types. Buying several of one type of vehicle may improve your buying power and allow you to take advantage of volume incentives.
